Some days are not clean, tidy, noble, or inspiring.
Some days are just awkward, irritating, sad, ridiculous, frustrating, embarrassing, or just plain dumb.
This category is for the strange human ability to laugh anyway.
Not because the problem is fake or because pain doesn’t matter. And not because everything can be turned into a joke. Humour can give a person enough breathing room to keep moving through the mess.
In real life, humour and trouble are not always separate.
This is the place for rough days, small embarrassments, big embarrassments, ageing, frustration, odd thoughts, harmless absurdity, and the comic little sparks that appear before, during, or after the mess.
Clean jokes are welcome. Dad jokes are welcome. Strange observations are welcome. So are the moments where life is not funny yet, but may become funny later if we can just get enough distance from it…or help others get through it.
