About the GOOD DEED FOR THE DAY category

This category is for small daily acts of decency, usefulness, generosity, patience, and follow-through.

Nothing grand is required.

You do not have to save a village, donate a kidney, or single-handedly repair civilisation before lunch.

A good deed can be small.

It can be making the phone call you promised to make.

Checking on someone.

Helping a neighbour.

Feeding an animal.

Cleaning something that needed cleaning.

Letting someone merge in traffic without acting like the road belongs to your ancestors.

Sending the message.

Keeping your word.

Apologising properly.

Doing the job nobody was clapping for.

Some good deeds are visible. Some are private. Some are boring. Some are inconvenient. Some are simply the decent thing you did when no one was watching.

That counts.

This is a place to notice those things, share them if you want to, and maybe remind one another that usefulness is one of the better forms of kindness.

So post your good deed for the day.

Big or small.

Done loudly or done quietly.

It all helps keep the human machinery oiled.
