At first, you need to be clear, direct, and explicit with AI.
That’s normal.
When a digital workmate is still new to you, it doesn’t now your projects, habits, humour, shortcuts, recurring phrases, who you know people, your worries, or your way of thinking.
But over time, something useful starts to happen.
You begin developing shorthand.
A phrase that once needed a full explanation starts to carry meaning. A project name becomes familiar. A repeated task becomes easier to restart. A certain kind of edit, summary, reminder, or tone-check can be called up more quickly because the human and the AI have already worked through it before.
These shortcuts are not magic words.
They are shared context.
