Share a real photo from your day: pets, projects, skies, meals, gardens, workshops, roads, places, people, tools, or small moments worth seeing.
Newspaper editor, Arthur Brisbane…1911: “Use a picture. It’s worth a thousand words.”
Ad exec, Fred Barnard…1923: “One look is worth a thousand words.”
Thanks for that, Flicker!
No problem, Cat.
You can even share an AI-assisted photo! Why not.
A picture can start a conversation faster than a paragraph.
It does not have to be much of anything. A dog asleep in a ridiculous position counts. A good dinner counts. A strange cloud counts. A workshop mess counts. A flower, a ute, a bookshelf, a painting, a half-finished job, or something that made you stop and look twice — all of that belongs here.
Photos can also help the conversation. If you are trying to explain a repair, a recipe, a project, a garden problem, a design idea, or some mysterious object sitting on your bench, show it. People understand faster when they can see what you mean.
Just use common sense. Do not post private information, someone else’s face without permission, anything cruel, anything nasty, or anything that turns the place into a rubbish tip.
Post A Photo is simply a place to say: “Here…look at this.” This is a good place to get away from it all…by not getting away from it all!
