The A-to-I Ratio is ingrained. If you look at my guitar fretboard you can see the wear on certain frets and slightly worn-down fret bars in certain places. Those are pointing to outliers of sorts and if I am going to play something totally new…it’s a high likelihood my fingers will centre on those areas.
