Technology is no longer something that happens somewhere else, controlled only by specialists, corporations, programmers, or governments. It is now part of ordinary life: phones, software, online systems, automation, robotics, data centres, digital workmates, and AI tools that can change how people think, [work](https://niceguyalgorithm.discourse.group/c/jobs/15), learn, [create](https://niceguyalgorithm.discourse.group/c/the-arts/14), and solve problems. This category is for practical discussion of artificial intelligence, useful tools, digital workmates, online systems, software, data centres, robotics, automation, and how technology is changing ordinary life…especially when ordinary people learn to use it well. We are not here to worship technology or panic about it. We are here to understand it, test it, question it, use it, and keep the human being in charge. Bring questions, examples, discoveries, warnings, useful tools, strange failures, and anything that helps ordinary people become less confused and more capable in a fast-changing world. ---
